The service
The Care Insider Training provides online training courses, quizzes, completion tracking, and certificates of completion for care providers. By creating an account or purchasing a plan, you agree to these terms.
Training — not state-approved continuing education
Unless a course expressly states otherwise, our courses are training, not state-approved continuing education, and completing them does not by itself satisfy any licensing requirement. Certificates attest to completion of our course content only. You and your organization remain responsible for your own regulatory compliance, and nothing on this platform is legal advice.
Accounts
Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. Quizzes must be completed by the enrolled learner — completing training on someone else’s behalf defeats the purpose of compliance records and is grounds for account termination.
Facility plans
Facility subscriptions are billed per seat, annually, and renew automatically until cancelled. Facility administrators assign seats to their staff and can view those staff members’ training records. By enrolling staff, the facility confirms it has the authority to enter their information and share their training records with the facility.
Billing, cancellation & refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals and your plan remains active through the end of the paid term. If you purchased in error, contact us within 14 days of purchase — if no course has been completed and no certificate issued on the plan, we will refund it.
Our content
Course content, lessons, quizzes, and materials are owned by The Care Insider. Your subscription grants your organization a license to use them for its own internal training. You may not resell, redistribute, copy, or use our content to build a competing service.
Disclaimers & limits
The service is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep content accurate and the platform available, but we do not guarantee that training alone will produce regulatory compliance, survey outcomes, or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. You may close your account at any time; certificate verification records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law & changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. If we make material changes, we will update this page and the date above; continued use after changes means you accept them. Questions: hello@thecareinsider.com.
